"No human, nor any living thing, survives long under the eternal sky. The most beautiful women, the most learned men, even Mohammed, who heard Allah's voice, all did wither and die. All is temporary. The sky outlives everything. Even suffering." - Bowa Johar, Balti poet.

I don't know how these blogs work, but I'm experimenting right now. Are you at your destination ??? Hope things are going well for you. What is the weather like? The people there? I can imagine it's a lot different from home. I'm thinking about you and praying for your successful work there.

Hilly,
I'm so proud of you. I can't wait to hear what it's like there..facilities like showers, bathtubs..toilet..hot water. Very important to your aunt!!

I just completed my 24th trip to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas; 7 am to 8 or 9 pm on the show floor is quite enough for me. No partying.

Jennifer and family arrived a day after I got back from the show.
Drew and Kate are absolutely adorable. We spent from 8 am to almost 11 pm at Disneyland. Drew and Craig did all the macho rides and Kate, Jen and I did all the princess and small rides. We all had a great time. We stayed the night at Disneyland; got up about 6:30 am and went to Laguna Beach's main street beach. It was lots of fun. The next day we journed to Corona del Mar to a environmental type beach. Had to go down a steep walk way. Only about three other groups there. Mostly artists. Of course the environmentalist were there making sure we didn't harm the wetlands. Kate and I tried the boogy board. She's not afraid. One wave came in and I stumbled and torn part of my big toenail off. Leave it to me. All in all I had a wonderful time during their visit.

Andie had a baby girl couple of days ago. She named her McKenna Joy. Andie and Brent now have Ethan whose 7, Cora whose 5, Braydon who is just 2 and now McKenna Joy. What a nice size family.

Well take care of yourself and enjoy your tour of Morocco. I'll be writing soon.

Love and kisses
Shirl
